An exciting estimator opportunity has arisen in a well-established roofing company based in Leicester, who are currently experiencing a lot of exciting and progressive growth are looking for a Trainee Estimator to join their expanding team!
The estimator role will be mainly office-based (with site visits where appropriate) and will include all aspects of roofing estimating work, including tracking and analysing enquiries, pricing work, and building tender documents. Learning the whole process from start to finish and work as part of a team to secure and price work.
The job will start as a trainee estimator position alongside a senior estimator and under the guidance of the branch manager, but with the aim that the candidate will be in a senior estimator role within two to three years. Therefore, this is an exciting prospect for a hard-working, dedicated and ambitious person.
The right candidate will:
The starting salary is negotiable depending upon experience but will be circa £28,000 - £35,000 DOE. A company vehicle will be provided and there is a bonus scheme based on company performance. Good holiday allowance including during the office shutdown over the Christmas period.

- Have an eye for detail and an ability to extract important information
- Have a thirst for knowledge and learning
- Desire fast progression in their career and be willing to work hard towards this
- Have good Maths and English skills
- Possibly have completed a degree or other higher qualification (preferably within construction, maths, accounting or civil engineering)
